Kickboxing is one of the world’s fastest growing sports. It is also considered as one of the most effective sports for getting you fit, and maintaining that fitness.
Kickboxing is a martial sport that originates from karate and western boxing.
There are many health benefits you will gain from kickboxing such as improved fitness, increased cardio vascular capacity, improved range of movement and overall muscle tone improvement. Kickboxing also burns calories and helps to reduce body fat whilst improving stamina.
Regular kickboxing practice will also help to improve your confidence, install mental strength, heighten your awareness, improve your fighting skills and teach you the basic principles needed to defend yourself.
At academy kickboxing we use the belt grading system to measure the progress of our students.
